What does faith mean?

In troubled times, peace comes from when our faith is in the One.

What does that faith mean?

It means that no matter the visible outcome, we trust the unseen due to who we trust in.

Is what happens always going to be what we “think” or “expect”?

No, for our thoughts are not His and our desires of the flesh do not align with His.

For the One knows far beyond what we can see.

May we pray to have spiritual eyes of the Lord.

May we put our trust in His decision above our thoughts on how the result should be.

Sometimes our selfishness in the flesh will be revealed when the answer isn’t what we want.

Why say selfishness? Because God has a far better plan and He knows the future. None of us are aware like He is.

The selfishness comes from thinking we know better than God.

Do things sometimes come out to what we hoped? Yes, it can.

Now what if what we hoped for doesn’t happen the way we expected? Does that mean we are lacking faith? No, because sometimes what we think, isn’t always best. And whereas we’d desire one thing, God can see the bigger picture and what we desire may not be best and what’s to arrive when we meet Him will reveal something bigger than we could ever imagine. It’ll make sense then.

With that being said, never give up hope. Always remain strong in the faith in Christ Jesus. Don’t give way to doubt, don’t give way to fear, don’t give way to the what if’s, and don’t give way to what some begin to feel - “God doesn’t see me” because dear, that’s a lie.

There’s nothing that gets past our God. There’s not a thing He does not know, see, or hear.

Give it to Him. For He is who He says He is.

🙏

(Romans 8, 12; Hebrews 1, 12; Psalm 139; Galatians 5-6; Philippians 1-4; 2 Samuel 12)

(And for one who may need this, vengence is the Lord’s and He is our Counselor, Healer, and Redeemer. Those hurts (the brokenness), those traumas, those harms, those things that have went on that no one sees (or seen), everything done unto you, trust and believe our Father is EXACTLY who He says He is. He does NOT lie. He is faithful indeed. May our trust be in the Lord and rely on the author and perfecter of our faith.)
