Should we be ‘bad’?

Our ‘bad side’ shouldn’t be something we should be parading and/or condoning in others.

We should be wanting to remove the ‘bad’ and help encourage others to do the same as well.

This day in age, bad is called good and good is called bad.

We don’t need to hang on to the bad or think it’s a trophy. I know I sure used to.

There’s so many ‘sayings’, or mantras may I say, that people tend to cling to that encourages their flesh to rule over them.

Our flesh is not our friend. It keeps us in bondage and continues a viscous cycle that leads to destruction and heartache.

That “bad side” is meant to be purged and cleansed.

Unfortunately, it’s parading, encouraged, and lingers in a deadly sense. And sadly, satan has many in captivity by believing the lies.

“It’s how our family is.” “I’m just like ‘so and so’.” “It’s just who I am.”

But all lies to keep in bondage. Yes, so and so may of been like that, but do you need to be?

When are we going to stop the cycle and start renewed?

When are we going to see that the flesh is not the way to go?

When are we really going to seek freedom instead of feed pride being ran by the flesh?

When are we going to look in the mirror and adjust what needs to be adjusted?

So often, many spend so much time either ‘perfecting’ their make up (or beards for the men) when in reality we need a heart check in the mirror of the Word of God.

We need to realize that it doesn’t need to be our identity and being bad isn’t what’s good for us.

May we stop conforming to our flesh and choose to not compromise as we stand firm for the next generations to come. May we set a true example instead of a rebellious and stubborn attitude of witchcraft.

🙏❤️

“For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”
