Seek Him, Take off the Blinders

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7 NIV

Oftentimes, we are moving so fast that we build a barrier between us and God. But God is ALWAYS there.

We create our own barrier, one that God does not create for us.

That’s when it gets REAL.

In this world, we allow what’s in it to overly consume us to the point that we ourselves ‘forget’ about God and his many blessings.

But one things for sure is, we CANNOT let that continue.

We HAVE to remember the salvation placed on us through Christ’s resurrection.

We HAVE to remember the ultimate sacrifices played out so we could have a chance at peace, love, and eternal life with God.

We CANNOT be blinded anymore.

There will come a day soon when God will call us home. I know I want all of my family and friends with me, enjoying the grace of God’s company with his son on his right side!
