So over the past couple weeks, there have been some troubling things going on in a sense.
I have had thoughts thrown at me in my head from Satan to try and bring me down, manipulate my thoughts, and change my course of action in my life.
He has manipulated things within my personal life and thoughts to have me confused in areas I shouldn’t be.
Little does he know, it’s sending me closer to God.
I’ve been praying so hard on some of the things I’ve been dealing with and Satan tried to make me blind to God telling me to meditate on a portion of Ephesians.
What do I mean by that? — Well, I’ve felt a pull towards Ephesians like crazy, but I figured it was just because it was one of the books in the Bible I truly love a lot. Well that actually wasn’t the case like the Devil tried to make me think.
And guess what... I reached out to a dear friend and sister in Christ and she directed me right to Ephesians, but guess what portion—- Ephesians 6:11-17.
WOW!
Her doing so, helped answer one of my prayers I’ve been praying so hard on with God: to know when it’s him speaking to me and to grasp what he’s telling me. Well that reassured me right there that those random thoughts to go read Ephesians was INDEED God speaking to me and I just didn’t ‘see it’ or ‘grasp it’ at the time when he first was trying to get my attention.
God IS there y’all. All the time. But Satan will do anything to try and block that connection, even if it means him twisting your thoughts to think the way he did me with Ephesians, “oh it’s just because I like that book, he isn’t telling me anything special.”
Now I want to share that portion of Ephesians.... see if you see something else Satan tried to hide from me....
Ephesians 6:11-17 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness in place that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
I am so thankful for God who continues to show himself to me. I am so thankful for God who loves me so much and sees my worth even when I didn’t before. I am so thankful that God sees my potential even when Satan tries to destroy it. And I’m so thankful that I’ve been given another chance to serve such an almighty God. 🙏❤️
(PS, I’m a tad horrible at explaining things but that’s okay, I’ll get there! 😍)
