Middle of the Storm

We all face storms that can create obstacles.

Sometimes doubts can start to seep through

Things that just bring us to tears, over and over

Sometimes it’s like we are in a boat, in a storm, but the storm keeps getting stronger, rocking us harder and harder.

The waves getting stronger in the wind

And we are left unsure, rocking back and forth, wondering, Am I going to make it out of this?

But you keep holding on, longing for that storm to ease up, the waves to calm, and the boat to be still.

We need to remember the One who calmed the water for Peter and the disciples.

We need to remember the One who freed His people from slavery.

The One who performed miracle after miracle.

The One whose love we can feel, even if we can’t “see” it at times.

The One who’s miracles are dear but OUR doubts blind His goodness.

The doubts that discourage our faith and hope.

The faith and hope that brings forth miracles, forgiveness, love, guidance, and so much more.

He’s always here and moving still

We just have to open our eyes and see truth instead.

The facts are there, they are all around us

We have to remember and trust in Him.

He’s living, breathing.

Let’s open up and let Him breath life into us,

Let our hearts soar with Him

Yearn for Him

Loving Him

Trusting Him

Letting Him guide us

Giving Him full control and letting Him take us through rough waters; even the good and the bad.

Lord, let Your love shine down; let it break through the clouds of soul many.

You are great, a magnificent deliverer of any storm.

May we continuously put our trust in You, Lord!
