“When sin is not addressed, the flesh is caressed, and anyone can listen without being distressed.” -Matthew Maher
Too often sin is not addressed.
Too often the ears are tickled.
Too often people are led astray.
Too often people are being lied to.
Too often, many live thinking they’ve been saved because they have no idea what the gospel of Jesus Christ truly is and are not letting go of sin.
When we aren’t aware of sin, then we have no conviction. Conviction is outlined by Gods terms, not mans opinion. And without the truth of the entire gospel, then we don’t see what God says is sin.
If we are more concerned about gain in this life and more upset about the potential of losing the things of this world, then we don’t have our eyes on Jesus. Biblical discernment cannot be formed without sitting with the Lord and seeking what He says instead of making it all about us.
