Bible Study with Luke 14 and Jonah 1-4: Reflection

So I was just reading Luke 14, and it totally reminds me of the story of Jonah in a sense!

Like how Nineveh repented and changed their ways but Jonah was confused because he wanted them God to reign judgment down but God told Jonah basically, that rejoicing and compassion should be occurring because they repent and changed their ways. God rebukes Jonah and explained that they didn’t know their ways were wrong and they needed to be warned so they could know.

They were all now His children.

The prodigal son relates as the other son was distraught at the feast for the prodigal son.

God is so consistent in His Words and character. All throughout His consistencies are everlasting and lovingkindness. Just as the psalms writes! 😩🙏💗 He is so faithful and truthful in all His ways!!

Luke 14; Jonah 1-4 🙏💗
